This module adds the ability to uncraft tools, weapons, and armour.

Features

Disassemblers will return the materials used to craft iron and gold, swords, tools, and armour. They can also return the materials used to craft shears, and flint and steel.

Crafting

The Disassembler can be crafted in a Custom Crafter using the following recipe:

Previous Versions

MC 1.8 Version

In the MC 1.8 Version, the item had to be undamaged to be disassembled and would always output the exact amount of items used to craft it. Additionally, the item had to be placed in the middle slot of the disassembler to be disassembled rather than thrown on top.

The 1.13 Version had an additional advancement "Disassembling Matters"

Successfully disassemble a diamond chestplate without any loss!
Be within 5 blocks of a disassembler when it returns all 8 diamonds from a chestplate

MC 1.13-1.17 Versions

Prior to 1.18, the recipe used to be

Custom Crafter

Crafting a Disassembler converted the Custom Crafter into a Disassembler. Additionally, breaking the Disassembler dropped the items used to craft them instead of a custom item.
