The Spiraculum Shamir allows players to attract mobs and items.
The Infinitas Shamir makes a bucket "permanently" empty or filled with that liquid.  <!--Additionally, adds a "vacuum" effect to empty buckets that allows players to attract mobs and items.-->

{{TOC limit|5}}
Spiraculum is a custom shamir which allows players to attract entities to their location. For details on how to create a cast with metal band, see the [[Metallurgy#Casting Metals|Metallurgy]] page. It is found on a Thorium Brass Band, and can be placed onto a bucket. For details on adding a Shamir to an item, see the [[Metallurgy#Attaching Bands|Metallurgy]] page.

When enchanting the bucket, it behaves like a vacuum. Holding the enchanted bucket will cause entities to be attracted towards you. Armor Stands and Item frames are unaffected by this effect.

==== Vacuum ====
Holding an empty Infinitas Bucket will cause mobs to be attracted towards you.

When holding an empty Infinitas bucket in the mainhand or offhand, mobs and items in an 11x11 area will spiral around the player. The mob will not gain any upwards motion, so players cannot move mobs up over blocks with this. Once a mob touches the player, it will circle around for a short time, then be released in a random direction away from the player. Players can use the ability on multiple mobs at once, as long as they are nearby (about 5 block radius).

==== Limitations ====
== Technical Details ==
Filling a spiraculum bucket with any type of liquid will cause the vacuum to break and turn into a normal bucket.
An Infinitas Bucket that is used to pick up or place liquids, or pick up or place fish, will lose any special data on the item (e.g, a custom name). The Infinitas shamir '''cannot be used within any machinery''' or used by a non-player and will be destroyed, leaving a plain bucket.

If a Lava or Powder Snow Infinitas Bucket is obtained while the config is disabled, attempting to place the liquid will destroy the Shamir and leave the player with a Lava or Powder Snow bucket.
<!--
A mob that has been affected by Infinitas must be at least 10 blocks away from any player holding an empty Infinitas bucket in order to be affected by the Infinitas vacuum again. Deselecting the bucket for a short while will also reset the mob's cooldown.

Usage

Applying Infinitas to a bucket with or without liquid will make the Infinitas bucket "infinitely" be that bucket type.

Bucket

An empty Bucket with Infinitas will be able to infinitely pick up liquids, like a single block sponge.

Milk Bucket

A Milk Bucket with Infinitas can be drank repeatedly to remove potion effects.

Water Bucket

A Water Bucket with Infinitas can repeatedly place Water source blocks. They can also be used to pick up and place aquatic mobs.

Compatibility

Lava and Powder Snow Buckets

Lava Buckets and Powder Snow Buckets are disabled by default but can be enabled on by running scoreboard players set $lava_infinitas gm4_ml_data 1 and scoreboard players set $powder_snow_infinitas gm4_ml_data 1 respectively.

Technical Details

An Infinitas Bucket that is used to pick up or place liquids, or pick up or place fish, will lose any special data on the item (e.g, a custom name). The Infinitas shamir cannot be used within any machinery or used by a non-player and will be destroyed, leaving a plain bucket.

If a Lava or Powder Snow Infinitas Bucket is obtained while the config is disabled, attempting to place the liquid will destroy the Shamir and leave the player with a Lava or Powder Snow bucket.
