This module causes skeletons to convert to strays that can drop ice. This module is pre-packaged with the Midnight Menaces expansion pack.
Features
During this Mysterious Midnights event, 50% of skeletons will turn into icy strays. This module is a common event.
Icy Strays behave the same as normal strays, affecting players with slowness upon shooting them with an arrow. However, when killed with a Looting sword, icy strays have a chance to drop ice, packed ice, and blue ice. These drops are affected by looting.
Technical Details
Skeletons that are named or have picked up an item (i.e. the skeleton is persistent) will not turn into an icy stray. Additionally if the skeleton is not holding a bow in its main hand or if it has an item in its off hand, it will not turn into an icy stray.
