Gamemode 4: Difference between revisions

Gamemode 4 is a collection of [https://www.minecraft.net Minecraft] command modules to designed to change and enhance the vanilla survival experience. Each module adds a set of custom features to the game, such as exploding bats or custom terrain. Gamemode 4 has varying levels and sizes of content from simple additions like [[Bat Grenades]] to completely new complex mechanics like [[Zauber Cauldrons]]. These additions are named modules because of their ''modular'' nature. It is encouraged to mix and match modules as you please to create your own custom experience.

 

Gamemode 4 was originally created by [https://twitter.com/SparksTheGamer Sparks].  He has said:<blockquote>"I was inspired by the new command blocks and their potential for making cool stuff and since I was doing a lot of YouTube at the time I thought it would make a nice showcase series that the community could get involved with too." </blockquote>Created on February 21st of 2014 , various contributors to the project have submitted modules or worked directly with Sparks since then to expand Gamemode 4 to what it is today.   

To install Gamemode 4 modules onto your server or single player world, download the module from the [https://gm4.co/modules Gamemode 4 website]and insert the datapack zip folder into the datapacks folder in the world you wish to install the module on. One Click installation is the officially supported method. This lasted from 2016 until 2018 when the [https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/1.13 1.13 Update Aquatic Update] changed commands and added datapacks.
