Features
When an item falls onto a Big Dripleaf, the leaf will inspect a hopper placed on the ground in front of it. If any of the items in the hopper match the item on the leaf, it will slide the item into the hopper. Otherwise it will collapse and drop the item below itself like normal.
Filtering Items
An easy way to capture the items dropped below the leaf is to plant the Big Dripleaf on Farmland and place a hopper below that. Hoppers can pick up items through farmland. You will need to make sure the Farmland block is irrigated by a water source, otherwise it will dry out. If you can't use water, a hopper minecart under the block will work too. Big Dripleaves can be waterlogged, allowing you to push items that fall through them away too.
