To get started, a Minecart with Piston is crafted in a Custom Crafter:
A Minecart with Piston is an advanced form of the furnace minecart that follows the following rules:
INSERT RECIPE
* If the rail the cart is on terminates in a breakable block, it will break that block


Minecarts with Piston are an advanced form of the furnace minecart and follow a simple set of rules when mining:
* If the rail terminates in an air-like block and has a solid top-face block below, place a rail
1. If the rail the cart is on terminates in a breakable block, break that block.
2. If there is a chest minecart nearby, try to refuel and restock on rails if necessary.
3. If the rail terminates in an air-like block and has a solid top-face block below, place a rail.


Usually this chain of events is triggered by 1. (a block in front of the cart) but it may also be triggered manually using a powered activator rail. Note that Minecarts with Piston only work when on a horizontal piece of track.
* If low on rails or fuel, try to refuel and restock from a nearby chest minecart
 
The Minecart with Piston checks these conditions when there is a block in front of the minecart, but can be manually triggered if on a powered activator rail.

A Minecart with Piston is an advanced form of the furnace minecart that follows the following rules:
