Features

During this Mysterious Midnights event, goblins can spawn near players. This module is a rare event.

Goblins

Goblins are modified baby zombies that have more health and a farther tracking distance. Goblins have 24 health and will track players from up to 48 blocks away. All goblins wear a craved pumpkin with Thorns III and are left handed, wielding a golden sword.

Goblins have a special loot table. They will drop 0-2 rotten flesh, along with 0-4 iron and 0-2 gold nuggets. These chances can be increased by looting.

Goblin Stealing

Goblins will steal diamonds, iron ingots, and gold ingots from nearby players. When the goblin is killed about 98% of the items it stole will be dropped.

Technical Details

Goblins will only spawn in air. Goblins will spawn within 24-64 blocks away from players. Goblins can spawn in altitudes between 5 blocks above the player and 5 blocks below the player. This means the horizontal distance is up to 48 blocks, but the vertical distance is only up to 5 blocks away from the player.

Every 0.8 seconds, goblins within 3 blocks of a player, have a 50% chance to steal diamonds, a 25% chance to steal iron ingots, and 20% chance to steal gold ingots.
