Features
The Forming Press handles operations that require smelting as well as crafting, such as brick crafting, charcoal creation, and lava generation. The overall output of the Forming Press is approximately doubled compared to normal crafting operations.

MC 1.8 Versions
In the MC 1.8 Version, the resulting item would be placed in the middle slot of the custom crafter, rather than the bottom right slot.
MC 1.8-1.14 Versions
Prior to 1.15, recipes were very limited, only yielding 4 recipes. In 1.15 the recipes were standardized, adding crafting recipes for all brick types.

MC 1.8-1.17 Versions
Prior to 1.18, the module was called "Master Crafting" and was an upgrade of the Custom Crafter, being able to perform normal Custom Crafter recipes along with the additional brick, lava, and coal block recipes. The Master Craftmans's workbench was created using the recipe below:
Crafting a Master Crafter converted the Custom Crafter into a Master Crafter. Additionally, breaking the Master Crafter dropped the items used to craft them instead of a custom item.
