Mysterious Midnights/Tipped Skeletons

This module causes skeletons to equip and shoot tipped arrows. This module is pre-packaged with the Mysterious Midnights base module.

Features

During this Mysterious Midnights event, skeletons will equip 1 of 4 tipped arrow types: extended slowness, extended weakness, extended poison, or strong harming. Once the skeleton is equipped with a tipped arrow, it will not change the type of arrow it holds. Skeletons will be equipped with 9 of the arrows, and have a chance to drop them upon death. This module is an uncommon event.

Technical Details

Skeletons that are named or have picked up an item (i.e. the skeleton is persistent) will not equip tipped arrows. Additionally if the skeleton is not holding a bow in its main hand or if it has an item in its off hand, it will not equip tipped arrows.

Slowness and Weakness arrows have a 50% chance to drop upon death of the corresponding tipped skeleton. Poison arrows have a 87.5% chance to drop upon death of the corresponding tipped skeleton. Harming arrows have a 75% chance to drop upon death of the corresponding tipped skeleton.

The bow the skeleton is holding will be stripped of any enchantments when the skeleton is equipped with tipped arrows.
