Shrines are structures placed randomly throughout the world to unlock modules through puzzles. Some require player cooperation. Shrines sometimes contain runes that can serve as clues. Above the locked entrance, it will say in runes which module the shrine unlocks.
Shrines have various methods of giving clues and inputs, so far the methods of giving clues are as follows:
- Runes.
- Displays showing what the shrine needs inputted.
The known methods of inputs are as follows:
- Dropper named "Input"
- Pressure Plates (Custom ones, not the base game block).
Overworld Shrines
Smelteries & Tunnel Bores
Located at -3886 82 3131
and -3976 -1582
, for Smelteries and Tunnel Bores respectively, these two shrines were the first modules unlocked. This pair of shrines required the cooperation of Flowertown and Jungletown residents. The puzzle for the shrine involved standing on five pressure plates spread between both shrines; three at Flowertown, two at Jungletown . All pressure plates had to be activated simultaneously for the shrine to unlock.
This shrine was unlocked by Grian__, RedstoneThielith in Jungletown and ShadowSlam, Blockias and Thanathor in Flowertown
Liquid Tanks
Located at -3900 5100
, this shrine had a text puzzle involving a few words with numbers, and creating a phrase combined from the number of letters associated with each word that read: "very tiny jacket".
This shrine was unlocked by BartTheBart, upon inputting a Bat Leather .
Metallurgy
Located at -4364 1144
, this shrine required players to bring the items being displayed. The order of items was: piston, anvil, then a shamir. As Metallurgy had not yet been unlocked, the only way to find a shamir prior to unlocking the shrine was from a Wandering Trader in the Sky Dimension.
The shrine was unlocked by Grian__, RedstoneThielith, BluePsychoRanger and kyrkis.
Spawner Minecarts
Located at -3900 88 -4316
, this shrine required the transportation of specified entities to its location.
The entities were: Blaze, Cave Spider, Creeper, Silverfish, Skeleton, Spider and Zombie.
This shrine was unlocked by PimpinellaPlays and MisplacedSpirit.
Sky Shrines
Enchantment Extractors

, this shrine had an XP Tank hopper in front of the door, and required the input of <Michael I don't know what you did>

Heart Canisters
Located at -3854 205 -1377
, this shrine's door has runes that read:
ONLY OPENS FOR THE MASTER OF ALL SWORDS
which is also the name of an End Fishing advancement.
To unlock the shrine, a player had to go near the shrine with the advancement unlocked.
This shrine was unlocked by Luewd.
Nether Shrines
Orb of Ankou
Located at -4036 67 15
, this shrine has a message that reads FILL 200x
and a dropper labeled "Basalt Input"
To unlock the shrine, the dropper labeled "Basalt Input" had to be filled with 1800 stacks of Basalt, which the dropper consumed when full.
This shrine was unlocked by JP_12.
Soul Glass
Located at -3984 57 1199
, this had a map above the doorway and two dropper inputs labeled "F" and "J". There were 3 slots filled in each slot, containing cobblestone and andesite.
To unlock the shrine, the full Postcard map sets from each spawn town had to be put into each dropper. The Flowertown Postcard was put into the "F" input, and the Jungletown Postcard was put into the "J" input. The postcards were not consumed.
This shrine was unlocked by kyrkis.
End Shrines
Block Compressors

, this shine's doorway has runes that read:
INSIDE GHAST
To unlock the shrine, a Ghast had to be teleported inside the shrine utilizing the ability for Wormhole Tanks to teleport entities to the midpoint location between two tanks.
This shrine was unlocked by JP_12.
End Fishing
Located at -121 71 50
, this shrine was unlocked during the Ender Dragon fight and also contained a End Crystal.
To unlock the shrine, the End Crystal blocking the entrance had to be destroyed.
This shrine was unlocked by kyrkis.
Relocators
Located at -4036 67 14
, this shrine's door has runes that read:

which is also the name of an Orb of Ankou advancement.
To unlock the shrine, a player had to go near the shrine with the advancement unlocked.
This shrine was unlocked by kyrkis, JP12, TheBox, Levertion, Mechanist, venomousbirds, EiffelTowerBuild, Dennis, DroDo, Hozz, Acidect. Kyrkis was the one to obtain the advancement and unlock the shrine.
