The Spiraculum Shamir allows players to attract mobs and items.

Details

Spiraculum is a custom shamir which allows players to attract entities to their location. For details on how to create a cast with metal band, see the Metallurgy page. It is found on a Thorium Brass Band, and can be placed onto a bucket. For details on adding a Shamir to an item, see the Metallurgy page.

Usage

When enchanting the bucket, it behaves like a vacuum. Holding the enchanted bucket will cause entities to be attracted towards you. Armor Stands and Item frames are unaffected by this effect.

When holding the bucket in the main hand or off hand, entities will move towards the player. The entities' upward motion is not changed, so players cannot move mobs up over blocks. Once a mob touches the player, it will circle around for a short time, then be released in a random direction away from the player. Players can use the ability on multiple mobs at once, as long as they are nearby (about 5 block radius).

Cooldown

Once using the bucket on a mob (or group of mobs) the bucket will not work on the mob (or group) until the player uses the bucket on a different mob (or group).

Limitations

Filling a spiraculum bucket with any type of liquid will cause the vacuum to break and turn into a normal bucket.
