This module is currently unreleased to the public.

The Forterra Shamir allows players to find bits of iron, gold, and redstone while mining stone.

Details

Forterra is a custom shamir which allows players to mine small amounts of ore from normal stone. For details on how to create a cast with metal band, see the Metallurgy page. It is found on a Copper Band, and can be placed onto a pickaxe. For details on adding a Shamir to an item, see the Metallurgy page.

Usage

When mining smooth stone with the enchanted pickaxe, there is a small chance to drop either iron nuggets, gold nuggets, or redstone dust. Cobblestone will still drop when mined.

The following is based on observation and experimentation:

There is about a 6% chance that an iron nugget will drop. There is about a 6% chance that a gold nugget will drop. There is about a 3% chance that a redstone dust will drop.

Limitations

The Forterra shamir will not work with a Silk Touch pickaxe. Forterra will not drop more than 1 resource for a single stone. e.g. if an iron nugget is dropped, a gold nugget or redstone dust cannot also drop.
