This module allows sign upgrades that give signs the ability to emit a weak redstone signal, when right-clicked by a player.

To trap a sign, throw a "trapped sign" item at the sign. The trapped sign item will disappear and the sign will become trapped. If a regular sign trap is used the last line of the sign will display "-x-". Otherwise the last line will be blank.
Upon placing a trapped sign, the last line will be automatically set to "-x-" but can be overwritten when setting the sign's text. Right clicking a trapped sign will cause redstone dust within range to gain a signal strength of 1 for approximately one second. When mined, a trapped sign will drop all items used to craft it.

Any text placed on the last line of a sign will be deleted when the sign is trapped. A trapped sign only powers redstone dust, not repeaters or other redstone devices and only powers dust in certain spots around it.

A Wall Sign will power redstone dust directly adjacent to the block it is placed on. A Standing Sign will power redstone dust directly adjacent to the sign, or directly under the block the sign is placed on.

=== MC 1.8-1.10 Version ===
In the MC 1.8-1.10 versions (v1.0-2.0) trapped signs were a craftable item that would upgrade previously placed down signs. There were two types of trapped sign upgrade items: normal, and hidden; the hidden type would make the last line blank, while the normal type would have "-x-" written in the last line. This was changed as now the last line can be overwritten when setting the sign's text. Below is the crafting recipes for the old trapped sign upgrades. Additionally, when mined, a trapped sign would not drop the items used to craft it.
