Description
This template is intended to allow calls for citations for article categories, without repeating the claim implied by the category in the article text with a citation needed tag.
It will categorise tagged articles into Category:Articles with unsourced categories.
Usage
{{Uncited category|type = Biography of a living person|People|Films directed by Woody Allen|date=25 November 2024}} produces:
This Biography of a living person is in the categories Category:People and Category:Films directed by Woody Allen, but no reliable sources are cited to verify their inclusion. (25 November 2024) (Learn how and when to remove this template message) |
For example, {{Uncited category|cat1=Music videos directed by Hype Williams|date=July 2013}}, could be placed on Talk:Saturday Night (Jessica Mauboy song) to indicate that the Category:Music videos directed by Hype Williams is not cited within the text of that article.
