Blocks

Gamemode 4 adds a variety of new blocks as well as adds new functionality to existing Minecraft blocks.

The following lists do not contain information about blocks from Discontinued or Retired Modules.

GM4 Machine Blocks

The following blocks are special machines that preform unique tasks. These blocks can be picked up by Relocators.

Compressor	Turns a stack of items into a single compressed item
Custom Crafter	Allows for crafting of custom Gamemode 4 items
Mastercraftman's Workbench	Allows for optimized crafting of certain Minecraft items
Disassembler	Deconstructs weapons, armour, and tools
Ender Hopper	Collects items in a 9x9 region around it
Enchantment Extractor	Extracts enchantments from items
Liquid Tank	Allows for the storage and redistribution of liquids such as water and potions
Smeltery	Doubles the output of metals, popped chorus fruit, and glass
Tinkering Compressor	An upgraded compressor which converts items into their block form (e.g. 9 Iron Ingots -> 1 Iron Block)

Custom GM4 Blocks

The following blocks are custom blocks added by Gamemode 4 modules.

Metallurgy	Mold	Used to cast metals into and create an Obsidian Cast
Shroomites	Shroomite	Shroomites can shed from Mooshrooms and produce spores to create and spread mycelium
Soul Glass	Soul Glass	Reverses the effects of a beacon directly below it
Sunken Treasure	Treasure Chest	Can be placed down and opened to reveal rare loot such as tridents and hearts of the sea
TNT Landmines	Landmine	Instantly blows up when a player steps on it or the block it is in gets removed
Trapped Signs	Trapped Sign	Sends a redstone pulse when right clicked
Zauber Cauldrons	Zauber Cauldron	Allows for the creation of magical items such as stronger potions and enhanced armour

Modified Blocks

The following blocks have new functionality from Gamemode 4 modules.

Book Binders	Lectern	Lecterns can strip enchanted books into individual enchanted pages and back
Crossbow Cartridges	Torch	Torches can be launched by a crossbow if held in the player's offhand
	Tripwire	Up to 40 tripwire can be launched by a crossbow in a straight line
Custom Crafters	Dropper	Droppers can be transformed into Custom Crafters
Desire Lines	Dirt	Players will occasionally convert grass blocks into dirt
	Coarse Dirt	Players will occasionally convert dirt into coarse dirt
	Snow	Players will occasionally trample snow, reducing the number of layers until it disappears
	Flowers	Players will occasionally trample flowers and other vegetation
Enchantment Extractors	Dropper	Droppers can be transformed into Enchantment Extractors
Ender Hoppers	Hopper	Hoppers can be transformed into Ender Hoppers
Liquid Tanks	Hopper	Hoppers can be transformed into Liquid Tanks
Standard Liquids	Furnace	Furnaces can be fueled by adjacent Lava Tanks
	Blast Furnace	Blast Furnaces can be fueled by adjacent Lava Tanks
	Smoker	Smokers can be fueled by adjacent Lava Tanks
	Cauldron	Empty cauldrons can be filled by adjacent Water Tanks
		Empty cauldrons adjacent to a Honey Tank will be filled with honey to create a honey block
Liquid Minecarts	Activator Rail	Powered activator rails will cause a Liquid Minecart to empty all of its Liquid
Metallurgy	Sand	Sand is used to hold a mold used for casting metals
	Anvil	Anvils are used to attach and detach metal bands on items
	Piston	Pistons are used to attach and detach metal bands on items
Harvest Moons	Crops	Crops will grow 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Leaves	Leaves will decay 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Fire	Fire will spread and burnout 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Grass Block	Grass blocks will spread 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Vines	Vines will spread 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Ice	Ice will melt 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Snow	Snow will melt 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Farmland	Farmland will hydrate and dehydrate 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Nether Portal	Nether portals will spawn zombie pigman 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
	Turtle Egg	Turtle eggs will hatch and crack 20x faster on a Harvest Moon night
Note Block Interface	Note Block	Note blocks will show their note when clicked by a player Note blocks can be tuned in reverse by crouching while tuning the note block
Orb of Ankou	Obsidian	Used to create a Soul Forge
	Soul Sand	Used to create a Soul Forge
	Wither Rose	Can be consumed and converted into a Lily of the Valley by a Fusing Ritual
Pig Tractors	Farmland	Running a Pig Tractor over dirt will convert the dirt to farmland
	Crops	Running a Pig Tractor over farmland will harvest mature crops Running a Pig Tractor over farmland will plant crops from the player's inventory
	Nether Wart	Running a Pig Tractor over Soul Sand will harvest mature nether wart Running a Pig Tractor over Soul Sand will plant nether wart from the player's inventory
Podzol Rooting Soil	Podzol	Saplings dropped on podzol will be planted after some time
Shroomites	Mycelium	Mycelium can be created and spread onto other blocks, such as stone by Shroomites
Smelteries	Iron Block	Used to create the Multi-Block structure for a Smeltery
	Furnace	Used to create the Multi-Block structure for a Smeltery
Soul Glass	Blast Furnace	Blast Furnaces can smelt Soul Sand into Soul Glass
Spawner Minecarts	Spawner	Spawners can be picked up using a piston, redstone block, and minecart
	Piston	Used to transfer a spawner into a minecart
	Redstone Block	Used to transfer a spawner into a minecart
	Activator Rail	A powered activator rail allows a Spawner Minecart to actively charge
Speed Paths	Grass Path	Grass paths will give Speed I to players if they do not already have the speed effect
Sunken Treasure	Sand	Sand can produce treasure items when mined with fortune deep underwater
Vertical Rails	Ladder	Minecarts can travel up ladders when riding into a ladder from a rail
XP Storage	Ender Chest	When standing on an ender chest, a player's XP will be stored When standing under an ender chest, a player can withdraw stored XP
Zauber Cauldrons	Cauldron	Cauldrons can be transformed into Zauber Cauldrons
	Cobweb	Cobwebs can appear as a byproduct of brewing a Poison IV potion
	Fire	Fire can appear as a byproduct of brewing a Strength IV potion

	Soul Fire	Used to create an enhanced Zauber Cauldron
Ziprails	Tripwire	Tripwire acts as cables that minecarts can travel on if attached by a tripwire hook
	Tripwire Hook	Tripwire hooks act as a cable hook which allows minecarts to ride from a rail onto a tripwire
