This template should be used on pages on which their ONLY references are primary sources. Pages using this template will be added to Category:Articles lacking reliable references, organized by date.
Parameters
- Date
The date parameter is used to specify the date when the template was added to the article. See the following example:
{{Only primary sources|date=November 2024}}
If the date parameter is not specified, a bot will automatically add it shortly after the template was put into the article.

The first parameter can be used to make the template apply to a specific section.

If the template is used on an article in the main namespace, the word "page" will be replaced with "article."
